Testimony How God blessed an impatient man AcceptJesusAsLord

This real-life testimony about patience shows how God appreciates it when you show a good example and when you exhibit the fruit of the Spirit in your life. God sees it when you are like Jesus Christ and will bless you when you continue to walk in the Spirit. God loves you and wants to encourage you.

Electricity bill and waiting

I want to share my testimony about patience. Today I was in a branch, and I paid my electricity bill. My number was on the big screen, and the clerk called me to come and handle the transaction. However, there was a young man who needed to present his ID document, and the clerk asked me if I could let this young man go before me. I said, “sure” and I let him go ahead next to me and said, “No problem, I have plenty of time.” The young man kindly thanked me and continued the transaction; however, he had problems with the payment, and everything took much longer. The clerk asked me to go to another counter.

How patience led to a blessing

After some time, when the young man finished everything, he came to me, and he told me, “This is for you,” and he gave me 50 euros. I said I really don’t need it, and I didn’t want to take that money. I said, “Thank you, no need.” The young man told me, “Take that money, Jesus honors you,” and quickly gave me the money and left. I was surprised that God gave me 50 euros. I came home and told my wife everything.

We are grateful to God for those 50 euros. God is really good. I didn’t do anything, I was just patient, God teaches me to be patient, I’m a very impatient person. I often honk my horn and complain in traffic, and I often complain about the crowd, but today I was patient and calm. Here, I am sharing my experience with you. How good God is. Always, forever.

Some bibleverses to consider

Proverbs 14:29 (KJV) He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

James 1:19-20 (KJV) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Galatians 5: 22-23 (KJV) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Conclusion

This testimony about patience shows us multiple things. When we look at the bibleverses above, we can see how great it is to be slow to wrath. We must be patient to exhibit the character of God, which is righteousness in the eyes of God. Loving your neighbor sounds like a very simple command, but it might also be one of the most difficult things to do. 1 Peter 4:8 (KJV) shows us how love covers a multitude of sins. Additionally, the Bible talks so much about love and forgiveness (e.g., 1 Corinthians 13, The Lord’s prayer, etc.). Let us always walk in the Spirit, so that we don’t fulfill the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16-17 KJV).

Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:1 (KJV): “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” Dado really showed how honoring God and man opens the door for God to bless you back. Dado had to change his mindset from impatience and the flesh to patience and the Spirit. So, let us follow the example of Dado, just as he also follows Christ.
